Race week is upon us! We are looking forward to seeing everyone at the event! If you haven't yet registered for the race there is no better time than now, just click the "Register Now" button above.
We ask that all participants take a look through the information listed on this site especially on the Course Information and Athlete Information pages. There you will find everything you need to prepare for race day including information on parking, course route, and division awards. You can also see a sneak peek of this year's race shirt. We are expecting a dry but chilly morning so dress appropriately! Finally, make sure you check your clocks the day before the race! Daylight savings time ends at 2am on 11/2/14. While this organization and our annual event is focused on honoring law enforcement officers in Connecticut who have lost their lives, we cannot overlook the sacrifices made by those who tirelessly serve along side the police. It is with a heavy heart that we honor the memory of Hartford Fire Fighter Kevin Bell who tragically lost his life on October 7th while battling a residential fire. Our thoughts are with Kevin's family and friends as well as the entire Hartford Fire Department especially those serving on Engine Company 16.
Additionally, we wish a speedy and full recovery to those firefighters who were also injured during the incident. Firefighter Jason Martinez of Tactical Unit 1, Firefighter Colin McWeeny Engine Co 14, and Firefighter Kevin Burke of Engine Co 5. A memorial fund has been set up in Kevin Bell's honor.
